Compliance map for Qatar

Regulatory frameworks we map to.

Drona VR scenarios are calibrated to the regulatory frameworks Qatar plants are audited against. Compliance mapping is part of the year-one engagement; audit-trail records are produced in the format auditors expect.

Qatar Construction Specification (QCS)
Section 11 mandates contractor health and safety training, permits, supervised on-site competency. Applied across all Qatar government and EPC contracts.
QatarEnergy SHE
QatarEnergy contractor SHE management requirements — covers PTW, lifting operations, confined space, hot work and emergency response. Vendor pre-qualification gate.
Q-OSHA
Qatar has adopted OSHA frameworks for industrial safety, particularly in oil & gas and petrochemicals. NEBOSH IGC is the common professional certification.
ISO 45001
Occupational health and safety management — required by most Qatar Tier-1 operators and EPC contractors.
OSHA PSM
14-element framework applied at Ras Laffan and Mesaieed across LNG, refining and petrochemicals operations.
API RP 754
Process safety performance indicators — adopted by Qatar refining and LNG operators for tier-1 and tier-2 incident reporting.
NEBOSH IGC / IDip
Common professional safety qualifications for Qatar industrial safety leaders. Drona VR training records support continuing competency.

Drona VR in Qatar — questions buyers ask.

Direct answers to the questions Qatar procurement teams put to us before evaluation.

Does Drona VR support Arabic-language operator training?

Yes. Drona VR scenarios can be delivered in Arabic — both UI and voice-over. Bilingual Arabic-English deployment is the most common pattern for Qatar contractor workforces where supervision is English-speaking but operators are mixed Arabic / South Asian.

Are QatarEnergy vendor pre-qualification requirements supported?

Drona VR provides ISO 45001-aligned training records, NEBOSH-compatible competency evidence and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 documentation packages required for QatarEnergy SHE pre-qualification. We have supported multiple GCC EPC pre-qualification submissions.

How does training delivery work for Ras Laffan and Mesaieed sites?

Drona VR runs entirely offline on the headset — no Wi-Fi required at the unit. Hardware can be shipped to site, training delivered by visiting trainers (initial rollout) or local supervisors (steady-state), and learner data syncs at the depot.

What is the typical Qatar rollout timeline?

Pilot rollouts complete in 10–12 weeks including travel, site visits and trainer enablement. Full plant rollouts take 14–18 weeks. Multi-site rollouts compress per-site time to 6–8 weeks each after the first.
