Compliance map for Europe

Regulatory frameworks we map to.

Drona VR scenarios are calibrated to the regulatory frameworks Europe plants are audited against. Compliance mapping is part of the year-one engagement; audit-trail records are produced in the format auditors expect.

EU GMP Annex 1 (Revised)
Sterile pharma manufacturing — contamination control strategy, aseptic operator qualification, gowning and intervention training. Effective 2023.
REACH
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. Operator-level awareness training for substances of very high concern (SVHCs) and authorised uses.
CLP Regulation
Classification, Labelling and Packaging — operator competency in hazard pictogram recognition, signal-word response and SDS use.
ATEX 137 / ATEX 114
Explosive atmospheres directives — Zone classification training, equipment selection (Ex), and competency in EPL-rated work.
Seveso III Directive
Major accident hazards — operator-level emergency response, MAH scenario rehearsal, on-site emergency plan training.
EU OSHA Framework Directive 89/391/EEC
Foundation of European occupational safety law — training, risk assessment, worker consultation. Adopted into national law across all EU member states.
ISO 45001
OH&S management system — adopted by virtually all European Tier-1 industrial operators. Drona VR training records are ISO 45001 audit-acceptable.
EN 60079 series
Electrical installations in hazardous areas — operator training for Ex equipment, inspection and maintenance.

Drona VR in Europe — questions buyers ask.

Direct answers to the questions Europe procurement teams put to us before evaluation.

Is Drona VR GDPR-compliant for European operator data?

Yes. Drona VR offers data hosting in EU regions (AWS Frankfurt / Dublin). Operator training data is tenant-isolated. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) provided. GDPR Article 30 records of processing supported. Customer remains controller; Drona VR processes as processor under documented instructions.

Are EU GMP Annex 1 scenario libraries available?

Yes. The pharma manufacturing playbook includes Annex 1-aligned scenarios — Grade A/B intervention training, isolator / RABS operation, contamination control strategy execution, environmental monitoring response. Mapped to specific Annex 1 clauses for audit traceability.

How does training delivery work for Seveso III sites?

Drona VR scenario libraries include major-accident hazard (MAH) rehearsal — toxic release, runaway reaction, fire / explosion response. These integrate with the site's on-site emergency plan and can be customised to your specific MAHs identified in the safety report.

Can we deliver Drona VR training in non-English EU languages?

Yes. Scenario voice-over and UI can be localised to any EU official language. Typical lead time is 4 weeks per language. Most multinational European industrial operators run Drona VR bilingually — English plus the local-plant language.
